My name is Gina Lorenzo and I've been writing and recording music for several years now. My musical interests began as a child growing up in Long Island, New York. I attended Berklee College of Music and graduated with a Degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging. Since then I've had the pleasure of working with many fine musicians (some famous and some not so famous). To me, it really isn't the name that matters as much as it is the talent and professionalism each individual brings to the project. In the PAST, I've recorded vocals for national and international radio jingles and performed on many independent projects. I've also composed music for a short indie film and I've written commercial stingers for news/sports segments. I've released four CD's - all in different genres; three of which are available and described on this site. In the RECENT PAST, I've just released my 5th CD, (and what I consider to me my best - so far) entitled "Goin' Home". Even though I really dislike the name game, I must give credit to Billy Hulting www.zerobpm.com (my engineer, co-producer, percussionist and good friend), Ron Boustead www.precisionmastering.com (of Precision Mastering) and Jay Matsueda http://www.radical3over2.com (Photographer, friend and fine musician in his own right). Their expertise, compassion and support have been invaluable to me through this process. (Thanks guys!) In the NOW, I'm doing a lot of session work and have some live dates in the mix. I'll keep you posted on that. Right now I'm concentrating on the session work since that will help pay for the next two CDs!
